Company Earns High Ranks on the Software 500 and InformationWeek 500 Lists
ST. LOUIS (Oct. 6, 2010) – Emerson (NYSE: EMR) has received two honors from top publications in the technology industry – a No. 77 ranking on Software Magazine’s 2010 list of the world’s 500 largest software and services providers and No. 104 on the InformationWeek 500 list of technology innovators.
The Software Magazine ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenues for Emerson’s fiscal 2009, including revenues from software licenses, maintenance, and support; training and software-related services; and consulting. For fiscal 2009, Emerson’s global software and services revenues exceeded $700 million.
